Spanish Riding School
“There is no way around the Hofburg when visiting Vienna. Once the political center of the Austrian Empire, it offers culture and history in abundance. The Spanish Riding School, which was founded at the beginning of the 18th century, is undoubtedly one of the most important cultural assets in Austria and a real Viennese institution. The Lipizzaner stallions of this traditional riding school enchant spectators from all over the world with their demonstrations of the high school of classical horsemanship. In the winter riding school you can even experience the proud horses and their riders during training.”
