“Starting on the last weekend in November the Christmas Markets get opened until December 24th. There are more than 2,500 of them in Germany.
The Dresden Striezelmarkt is not only the oldest Christmas market in Germany, but one of the most famous in the world. In addition, there is a diverse range of arts and crafts from the Ore Mountains to home-baked Stollen or the popular Dresden Kraeppel, Christmas sounds and the typical Saxon cosiness.”
